Lapin Koskikoulu was Originally set up to cater for the training needs of the Finnish Rescue Services and the growing Finnish whitewater community.
As with most things in life our plans don't always move in the original direction we anticipate.
In the 3 years since the formation of Lapin Koskikoulu we have evolved into an award winning global training company.
Our roots are still firmly based in Finnish Lapland, but we travel a lot. Lapin Koskikoulu has operated training courses in the following countries; Finland, UK, Iceland, France, Bosnia, Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Spain, Nepal, India, Morocco, Estonia and Thailand.
By offering internationally recognised certification courses for the International Rafting Federation & Rescue 3 Europe. Lapin Koskikoulu are able to deliver courses for both recreational and professional water users including the emergency services & military.
In 2018 Lapin Koskikoulu extended its course offering to become a provider of Ice Rescue Training courses for Rescue 3 Europe.
